Harsh or delayed shifting
Transmission slipping
Illuminated check engine light
Transmission stuck in one gear
Reduced fuel efficiency
Low or high transmission fluid levels
Faulty transmission fluid pressure sensor
Malfunctioning transmission control module (TCM)
Clogged or damaged transmission fluid filter
Damaged or worn transmission
Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor: Gear fluid line delivers gear fluid/oil between the various gear parts that need lubrication. The Gear fluid line pressure Sensor monitors the fluid pressure in the line. Problems lead to difficulty in shifting gears
Check and adjust transmission fluid levels as necessary
Replace the transmission fluid pressure sensor if faulty
Replace the transmission control module (TCM) if malfunctioning
Inspect and replace the transmission fluid filter if clogged or damaged
Repair or replace the transmission if damaged or worn
