Description:

  • B Camshaft Profile Actuator C Control Circuit Low Bank 1

Possible Symptoms:

  • Inspect the wiring and connections for any damage or loose connections and repair if necessary.

  • Check the camshaft position sensor and replace if faulty.

  • Clean or replace the camshaft profile actuator.

  • Perform an engine control module (ECM) reflash or update.

  • As a last resort, replace the camshaft profile actuator if all other solutions have been exhausted.

Possible Causes:

  • Faulty or worn camshaft position actuator

  • Low oil pressure or insufficient lubrication to the camshaft position actuator

  • Corroded or damaged wiring or connectors in the control circuit of bank 1

  • Malfunctioning engine control module (ECM) or powertrain control module (PCM)

  • Incorrect camshaft timing due to a faulty timing chain or belt
